Educators from Hangzhou Xiacheng District Education Bureau Visiting Australia for Training

From August 18th to September 3rd, 2019, the educators of the Xiacheng District Education Bureau of Hangzhou received professional training in Melbourne and Sydney under the organization of the Australian Yutong Cultural Centre (YTCC). YTCC and the Xiacheng District of Hangzhou have close cooperation. In 2016, a group of headmasters across primary and secondary schools from the Xiacheng District Education Bureau participated in a comprehensive professional learning program which achieved good results. Therefore, in 2019, educators were organized again for training. This professional learning program is designed to help educators build awareness and understanding of the Australian education system, develop the skills that school teachers need in the 21st century, and develop these skills. Through this training, more exchanges and cooperation between China and Australia will be promoted.
